How to make scented candles with soy wax

1. Fix the candle wick

Glue the metal base at the bottom of the candle wick to the center of the bottom of the container with hot melt glue or tape.

Use chopsticks or clips to fix the top of the candle wick to the mouth of the container to ensure that it is vertical and not skewed.

2. Melt the soy wax

Weigh the wax block: weigh the soy wax (such as 100 grams) in proportion, break it into small pieces and put it into a stainless steel container.

Heating in water: Add water to the pot and boil, turn to low heat, put the container into the water (avoid water entering the container), and stir until the soy wax is completely melted into a transparent liquid.

Control the temperature: Use a thermometer to monitor, and control the temperature of the soy wax liquid at 60-70℃ (avoid exceeding 80℃ to cause the fragrance to volatilize).
